New Update: 2 Hospitalized, 1 Critical After Crash In Westchester That Caused Road Closures

Police are investigating a crash at a busy Westchester intersection that left two people hospitalized, including one now in critical condition.

The crash happened in Greenburgh on Thursday, July 25 around 12:50 p.m., when a collision occurred at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Fort Hill Road, according to Greenburgh Police.

Arriving first responders and police took two people to Westchester Medical Center. One person suffered serious injuries and is still in critical condition, while the second suffered minor injuries and was later released from the hospital. 

The incident caused closures on both Jackson Avenue and Fort Hill Road that lasted for several hours.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, Greenburgh Police announced on Friday morning, July 26. Any witnesses can contact the department's detective division at 914-989-1725.
